This deals leaves the Lightning with about 11M to sign Point, Erne and a spare forward. Based on the trade they must think they can do it with less because they lose a decent chunk of cap-relief from Callahan being removed from LTIR.
EDIT: McElhinney might get relief if sent down, a bit different than what Capfriendly's CBA FAQ says.

McElhinney is also a good goalie now. Tampa obviously signed him to be the backup.
