e-bikes are annoying to me, becasue when you are hammering it, they just come up pass you like you are standing still - i guess it just annoys me that i am spinning my brains out and they cruise right on by with the rider exerting no effort
please excuse me as i am going to go and yell at clouds now

I last rode the Bow River Pathway downtown July 22nd in the early afternoon and after meeting a constant swarm of speeding, swerving into my lane, reckless “Deer in the Headlight” eScooter riders it was enough to do what the recent Speed Limit Enforcement program couldn’t do......it has stopped me from riding the Path system near downtown again....at least until “tourist season is over”. Fortunately I don’t have to commute anymore so I have a choice not to subject myself to the risk of getting up close and personal with one of these green missiles.....piloted mostly by what appears to be completely inexperienced rider who gets rattled by normal cycling activity.
I consistently road cycle close to 10,000kms a year (confirmed by Strava) so I don’t consider myself a “rookie” or inexperienced rider. I feel sorry for any fellow CP’rs that have to commute......
