NO he did not fall off a cliff. He played exactly as was expected. Glencross and Hudler fell off a cliff. the rest of the Flames traded away played pretty close to expectations.
Even Russell pretty much delivered what was expected in Dallas and his first year in Edmonton. He had 25 playoff games as a top-4 D-man in those 2 seasons
