K so I’m shopping for all my hardware for the new deck.
I ask the associate at Lowe’s what nails I need to buy for joist hangers and the various other hardware needed.
He says I should just use deck screws and that “everyone” just uses deck screws.
Will I pass code if I use screws instead of nails?
