There was a short-lived local kiddie show that CFAC offered as competition to CFCN's Buckshot Show called "Gwynn's Pad." It was basically this creepy hippie with a pornstache and matching polyester fringed vest/slacks combo with a paisley wide-collared shirt. Which was the style at the time.

Gwynn's sidekick was "Robbie The Robot" except he pronounced it "Robe-Bee." Anyway, Robbie was a non-ambulatory robot who talked and barfed out bags of Old Dutch potato chips and was probably just a pimped-out vending machine. They had to cut to commercial early one time because some kid got his hand stuck in Robbie's chute/mouth.

And I swear I'm not making this up.
