Yeah but that's the point; the game has changed. Who does Lucic scare? I don't think Lucic has been effective for a few years. His production is going down, and he is 31 now. He's also a penalty magnet apparently. And slow.
I'd rather have Hathaway at 1.5/yr than Lucic at 5.75/yr. Their offense is basically the same too.
