I don’t love the deal, but at the end of the day the Flames tried Neal almost everywhere and he flat out sucked no matter where they put him. So much so that he wasn’t even used in the most important game of the year. So really Lucic can’t be worse.
The Neal signing though now looks absolutely dreadful. Complete waste of cap space.
