Sorry you did not get my point. Playoff performance , in my book, is far more important than regular season performance.
I never intended to suggest that the Flames were not able to keep their core because of keeping Bennett.
I think that Brodie has been and is a core player and will be missed at lot more than is being projected on the board.
Gio / Anderssen is not a top-2 pairing on a playoff team. Gio-Hamilton was not either.
