I think people are too hard on Parsons progression, he leap frogged ahead by crushing at the junior level and is a really young goalie trying to sort things out at the pro level. He's 21, and it is rare for goalies that young to be knocking at the door to the NHL.. He had a pretty strong 2nd half of the season in the AHL, with save % over .92 in 5 of his 6 final games including some monster performances, so he's still showing positive progress.
