Obviously there would be more to it than that. But I could see why Bennett might want the opportunity to have a top 6 role - evidenced by Stauffer’s tweet asking such. And he clearly isn’t getting that behind Gaudreau and Tkachuk.
But I could see Edmonton making sense for him. It would have to be part of a bigger deal though.
