I can't see the MLS ever landing in Calgary. I like what the CPL has going on with grassroots development, which is really what Canadian players, clubs, markets, etc. need. I just can't see Calgary being on the radar of MLS ahead of American markets.
I think that the three cities that can sustain MLS already have teams. Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa (the next 3 most populous) are pretty small markets in comparison.
