He had a pretty good first season in the NCAA, and even our GM called him out as one of the guys that impressed last year and in prospect camp this season.
I agree that he's probably closer to the bottom of that group (Phillips, Pettersen, and Zavgorodniy are a step ahead of the rest IMO) but his performance is pretty strong.
NHL equivalency for each of these guys last year:
Phillips - 23
Pettersen - 29
Zavgorodniy - 22
Koumontzis - 15 to 23 (played in an independent conference so tough to figure out exactly where it lands)
