Sorry about that. I have been both under the weather this week and having copious amounts of yard work to do at the same time after getting home from being at C.O.P..
I will be doing a more significant write up of each of our players after the scrimmage. It was difficult to gauge things as today was really the first day that was more normal in terms of being able to actually evaluate players on their skills.
A couple days ago, it was baseline testing where it was entirely how they skated. Not really able to glean much from that. Yesterday was slightly more normal and today was normal. It was more a lack of total data than anything. Figure with 1 more day's worth of data to go + having all sorts of "fun" digging up clay to plant trees and bushes, that it was easier to go through it all at once.
There are three guys in the camp among the skaters that I'd lean more towards the will play in the NHL column based off what I've watched. Matthew Phillips, Jakob Pelletier, and Mathias Emilio Pettersen.
MEP is the best player in terms of current talent, only slightly besting Phillips. Pelletier has a high level of upside as well. I could see MEP becoming an impact player at the NHL level if he keeps going. It is insane that he fell to the sixth. In a re-draft he goes in the 1st.
