Yeah all this hand wringing in week 3 doesn’t mean much in th CFL.
Scrap out/fall into a few wins in the next 2.5 months and be 4 and 8 or so, and if they can get back healthy, they’ll go on and make the playoffs possibly without the crossover. 2001 GC champs Stamps were 8-10 in reg season.
And with the weather drastically different in last October and November vs July 6, which equalizes things more.
Huff and Dickenson know this.
Players can’t rush back and risk reinjury in late July, when a few more weeks rest and then fully ready for the fall is exponentially more important.
And, they haven’t yet lost tonight so let’s not start writing eulogies for the season.
