An offer sheet should come at a heavier cost on the team that has launched it and the RFA's team should be rewarded for bring forced into a contract that they did not create.
Teams bringing forth an offer sheet would think long and hard about really moving forward with one. The NHLPA would cry about this I'm sure.

Last time I met an offer sheet it shook my hand and I said so Offer Sheet in what way are you going to meddle with a contract negotiation this year?
It pretty much glared at me before answer.
Then I said was going into the offer with only a first, and second, and a third the plan Offer Sheet.
I was pleased that it irritated it.
I didn't let it reply and said what do you think all the fans are here to be all kissy kissy.
I don't like Offer Sheets and I make no bones about it.
