Well, we’re going to be given pretty close to the same roster to watch this year so time will show if they can. The 2019-20 regular season performance will barely even matter in evaluating this team. It would take a catastrophic failure to miss the playoffs after finishing 2nd. Let’s talk again next May and we’ll see if they show improvement on the 5 game exit they just provided. But if they don’t, I think it’ll be time for most people to get onside with the debate about keeping Gaudreau/Monahan going forward.
