The woman was indicted for manslaughter after being shot! Who the hell is threatened by a pregnant woman to the point they pull out their gatt and put five rounds into her??? Unless she was brandishing a weapon herself, this is insane. If she did have a weapon, she would have been charged with aggravated assault as well, so this seems really messed up.
I agree, this speaks more to American gun culture and gun laws than anything, but a woman being charged with manslaughter because she had a miscarriage after being shot FIVE times in the abdomen is criminal in itself. The United States is going to depths no one ever envisioned.
