We are seeing players making big impacts at younger ages all the time. True across all sports.
Doesn't mean we need to discard him but IMO we are past the point where Lazar will make the drastic improvement needed to have a meaningful impact at the NHL. If he is willing to sign for AHL money, with the chance to earn NHL minimum or so in case of a call-up, then sure, I'd do that for another year. After that, I probably wouldn't want to use one of our 50 NHL contracts on the guy.
