Brought this up yesterday but I like to scare people so I'll bring it up again today.

Treliving spent bunch of time talking to Doug Armstrong at the draft. I can only assume the Blues aren't interested in paying 2 goalies upwards of $5M each so I suspect the talk was about Jake Allen. I know people here (and elsewhere) dislike the idea of Allen but it makes a ton of sense. The Flames could unload a contract (or retain some) in exchange for addressing an immediate need.

Also, in regards to if there was bad blood when Mrazek left Detroit, they felt he was immature and he went from being the heir apparent to being an afterthought. I wouldn't call it bad blood, but I can't imagine Mrazek would be thrilled to end up playing for Holland's team again and I found it strange that Holland himself would inquire about Mrazek in the first place.
