Interesting is that his production is top 10 pick level but people are concerned about his line mates being the play driver. Watched some video of him today and it didn’t seem like he was a product of his line mates to me.
In the last 5 years only eight U-18 forwards put up over 1.2 PPG in the WHL

Glass - 1.36
Barzal - 1.30
Point - 1.26
Merkley - 1.25
Yamamoto - 1.25
Cozens - 1.24
Tracey - 1.23
Tracey was the only one to do it in his rookie season in the WHL - for the rest it was the 2nd or 3rd year in the league.
Feels like he might be a bit underrated just because he was such a big riser this year.
