Considering you have no idea how back his disc degeneration is or how bad his symptoms are, calling it a “nothing diagnosis” is some A+ BS.
I get that people don’t see hockey players as human beings, but the amount of people who jump to discredit players for pulling a ####ty card in life just because a team gets out of the cap hit is ridiculous and embarrassing.
Callahan has 1 more year at 5.8 which still counts up until the Lightning open the season. It’s not like this is a huge win for them. His contract is done in a year.
Sucks for Callahan to retire at 34 though. Yikes.
