He was on the IR from September 26 until February 2, which far exceeds the 100 day minimum required for him to be eligible to sign a one-year contract with Performance Bonuses on it.
I wouldn't be opposed to the Flames signing him to a bonus-heavy contract to see if he can find his game again and stay healthy.
There will probably be a few teams who offer him a multiyear deal with guaranteed money, so a bonus-heavy deal likely won't be of interest to him.
