Sure, it's a sign that he's a committed athlete who wants to win so bad that he's willing to take those risks. Nothing wrong with that from a fan perspective. We want to see him out there playing. But if what's expected to happen ends up happening, then it's fair for one to not be as sympathetic to him predictably making the injury worse, because it's a predictable rather than unexpected result.
It's sucks that it happened and wish him the best in recovery, but it's not surprising considering what many speculated was his injury in the first place, and why Warriors held off from playing him until they were up against the ropes.
