It will be interesting to see if the refs let the non call factor into their decision making.

Edit: It will be interesting to see HOW the refs let the non call factor into their decision making.

Obviously it's impossible to tell, but we can speculate.

I would speculate that the refs let the non-call factor into their officiating. The refs let things like the # of penalties, the time of the game, the time of the year(playoffs vs regular season), and a whole bunch of other things like individual players, teams, coaches, factor into their decision making. Why not a previous games missed call?

If so many things can factor into a ref calling a penalty, or not calling a penalty, then I see no reason why the missed call won't factor in as well.

So if I were to guess, I would say St Louis will lose the game. The refs may or may not play a large role in that. If the refs do play a large role in Boston winning we will never know if the non call was a factor.

Except we will know the non call was a factor. You know?

Game management ladies and gentlemen

Holy smokes this reffing has been the most exciting aspect of the playoffs so far. It's almost like a game within a, no, a soap opera within a game. It's pure entertainment value with absolutely no foreseen conclusion. We have no idea what we're gonna get and that's got me on the edge of my seat!

GO REFS GO!
