Agreed. North America actually provides European teams a neat option. In addition to getting some exposure for their brand on this side of the pond, there are a number of leagues like USL, MLS, and CanPL that are mid-season that could provide some increasing challenge. My thoughts exactly. McMahon is a horrible field for soccer and would suck for both Cavalry and the travelling Euro team. My understanding is a lot of the Euro teams won't play on the fieldturf anyway.
If you get a game, you pack ATCO Field. I don't see any team willing to come play Cavalry being able to attract too many casual fans, so 5-7k is probably the best case attendance wise anyway.
