Clearly Yeo had a problem with him. Bouwmeester has always been a good player even if he didn't realize what most thought his potential was, but the clash between him and Yeo was palpable.
It happens sometimes...some coaches just don't like certain players for whatever reason, and the players on ice performance is what suffers the most usually.
Look in our own back yard here, though not as blatant i dont believe, and the relationship between Frolik and Peters. For whatever reason, Peters certainly did not use Fro as he should and has been for most of his career. In this case Frolik powered through it for the most part, but clearly there was a rift there for some unknown reason.
These are all different people with different personalities and biases...and at times don't mix.
