I think goalies are absolutely the biggest reason it's hard to look back in drafts. You also have to imagine what fans here would be saying about a draft pick who is not in the NHL 7 years later (other than 13 minutes in 15-16). It might give some people pause about making early judgments on Parsons (and even Gillies, who was drafted a year after Binnington). Binnington's minor league numbers are of course overall better, TBF.
