Speaking of which, I wasn't aware HBO is making a His Dark Materials show:
The Golden Compass movie was a flop, but I remember liking the books as a kids. It was essentially an anti-religious Narnia.
The cast seems good with Dafne Keen (the girl from Logan) and James McAvoy.
