Again, he was not a warrior in the playoffs. Him and Hanifin got overrun throughout the series and he got outplayed by Erick ####ing Johnson. You earn warrior status in the playoffs not in December. Regehr was a warrior because he earned that status in the playoffs, Hamonic has not. Hamonic is offensively limited but has shown he can be very good defensively which did not translate to the playoffs this year. He was weak, just like Brodie and just like the majority of the forwards. His good contract is also going to be coming to an end in the near future and if there’s a good offer for him I would take it. Of course he wasn’t the reason the flames lost but I expected him to have way more awareness and poise defensively vs the Avs. Him and Hanifin got owned all series. I’m not surprised at all to see his name in trade rumours
