Somebody needs to remind the Blues that they can't win with a loser like that on their team. Or at least that's what people were saying about him because of Buffalo and Colorado being terrible teams with him despite just being terrible teams.

O'Reilly kind of went from mess to mess going from Colorado to Buffalo. You have to admit when the Blues were last place in January there almost looked like some sort of curse going on with this guy. Similar to Matt Duchene going from Colorado to Ottawa although his leadership was questioned in both markets. Not every good player can be a great leader and it's typical that bad teams can have a lack of leadership compared to good teams so a guy like O'Reilly on a good team with veteran leadership in place can just do his thing in winning faceoffs and play a good two way game.
