To Edmonton: Artemi Panarin

To Phoenix: Jason Zucker, Tyler Pitlick, Ryan Lindgren, 26th OV

Really like Zucker and think he’s a good player but he had a down year and the Oilers were in big need of a scorer. We looked at our lineup and thought we had everything except for a bonafide star scoring forward. Panarin brings that, having come off an 87 point season. Also going the other way are Tyler Pitlick, a solid depth player that we had no space for, Ryan Lindgren, a solid defensive prospect who got his cup of coffee with the Rangers this season, and 26th overall, which is always a good place to be picking. Gotta give to get.
