I hate the term "Plot Armor" in general - IMO it's a term used by people that just don't agree with the direction a writer took in a show or story.
It's a story that is written by someone, every single thing that exists in that universe is decided on by the writer, and in reality everything that occurs is "plot armor" because the writer is making decisions that need to be made to continue the story moving forward.
If the character is not put into dangerous situations and is able to stay alive - "plot armor" (ie. Bran for most of the last two seasons)
If a character ends up in a dangerous situation but somehow survives - "plot armor" (ie. Jon at battle of the bastards or at Battle for Winterfell)
If characters make what seem like foolish decisions because they need to advance the story - "plot armor" (ie. Nobody killing each other during the two meetings at king landing between Cersei and Dany)
Just a ridiculous term. "Plot Armour" has protected every main character throughout the history of time in pretty much all stories - Star Wars, GoT, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc.
They'd all be pretty boring stories if in the first book the giant spider kills Frodo, if one of the death eaters finds out where Harry lives unprotected prior to going to Hogwarts and kill him in book 1 of Harry Potter, or if Hans and Luke freeze to death in Empire.
