Seth is woefully under recognized in this country. No he didnt have the great NHL career but truth is he made more money back then playing Sr. mens and playing for the Smoke Eaters, then doubling down as a firefighter for Cominco.
His amateur record is unprecedented though. Beat those stinkin commie bastard Soviets in the Worlds. At his funeral my cousin played the radio broadcast of the countdown in the gold medal game or final game that won the gold for them. IIRC it was Dan Kelley on the pbp but dont quote me on that.

It's been many years and my memory may be a bit foggy but I could have sworn he also owned a sports store in the mall in Trail, I believe in the 80's? Very nice man IIRC.
