In the past month I've seen people giving away for free old Weber Summit and Vermont Castings 4 & 6 burner units that with a bit of times, sweat, and money would keep going for another 10 years. These are units with $3,000 MSRP's - yes they are a little dirty and need some parts replaced.
When you buy from a quality manufacturer BBQ's aren't a throwaway item.
