It is, but should it be surprising?

The 7 Kingdoms were always a loose connection of fiefdoms with 'oaths' to unity, but they were never really one Kingdom.

They're like Canada right now, a unified Confederation....except when its inconvenient.

So let Sansa and the North have their thing. What does it hurt the rest of the Kingdoms?
