Just to be consistant, I'm unsure if I'm going to watch tomorrow's Money in the Bank PPV.
But I might as well throw out some predictions
Tony Nese (c) vs. Ariya Daivari
I can't see them taking the belt off of Nese, he's been on a star turn. Daivari is a great heel and ready to take the next step but not this day
Tony Nese
Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. The Usos (Kickoff Show)
The fact that this is on the kickoff show, kind of illustrates how bad tag team wrestling is right now. The USO's are now the mean girls of the division with their superhot prank and back shaving skits.
I'll take Bryan and Rowan
United States Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
Samoa Joe has been a solid champion, and it would be stupid to take the belt off of him. I stopped caring about Rey years ago. If they can have Joe murder Rey's son it would make it a 5 star match no matter what
Samoa Joe retains
Roman Reigns vs. Elias
I'm happy that Roman beat cancer and I'm glad he's back. But we're back to Super Reigns again, and the last good things about Eliass have been buried.
Roman Reigns
The Miz vs. Shane McMahon (Steel Cage Match)
I've liked Miz in the face role. Frankly I'm sick of the pudgy son of the owner regularly beating up wrestlers. I mean I get that fans love Shane because he's a spot monkey who does big spots, but losing to Shane just buries Miz, and I don't want to see a 40 some executive beating up a wrestler.
Shane McMahon ends the feud, buries Miz and moves on to feud with Reigns
Nikki Cross vs. Bayley vs. Natalya vs. Naomi vs. Carmella vs. Dana Brooke vs. Mandy Rose vs. Ember Moon (Women's Money in the Bank)
Winning the MITB is a major elevation for a wrestler on the verge. Just looking at this lineup, its amazing how weak the Woman's division has gone with Bliss, Banks and Rousey injured or not available.
Nikki Cross is a late addition, and I loved her in NXT but she's been pretty meh on the main roster. It wold have been nice to see any of the former members of the Riot Squad in this, but they've been nowhere to be seen since the superstar shuffle. I expect they'll let Mandy heel win this somehow and push her to the moon.
Mandy Rose
Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet vs. Randy Orton vs. Andrade vs. Ali (Men's Money in the Bank)
This should be a good match. Right now to me the ones that could most benefit from winning are Andrade and Zayn. Chances are the WWE will resist the temptation to do the right thing and do the old thing and give the briefcase to Orton or Drew.
I'm going to predict that they get this right, Zayn will win.
Raw Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lacey Evans
With two woman's title matches featuring Becky, I can guarantee you that she'll lose one. Evan's has kind of found her stride since they went from her catwalking to doing what she does best which is to be a southern heel. But I think the WWE is going to want to established woman's champions and make Evan's wait
SmackDown Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
I am so sick of this freaking matchup. The WWE has failed to elevate woman to the upper card over the last wild and because of that and again the departure of Rousey, the injury to Bliss, and the vacation of Banks has left a huge hole in the division, we're stuck with the same old thing. The WWE seems to like to put the belt on Charlotte, so here we go again. Boring
Charlotte
WWE Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Without the rest of New Day at his side, I expect that the WWE won't have faith in continuing the Kofi push. I'm a big fan of Kevin Owens, but not his confusing booking since he got back. But I expect the belt will go around his waist
Kevin Owens
Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. AJ Styles
Two great workers and should be the match of the night, I respect AJ a lot, but I really don't think at his age and with his new contract that the WWE is going to put the belt on him.
Seth Rollins
After the match we see the return of an Angry Brock Lesnar to set up a a feud with Seth.
