I’ve said it before and other analysts have said it as well. The problem isn’t the quantity of prospects. Everyone has those. It’s the depth of quality of prospects. The Jays are two, maybe three A1 prospects deep. I generally have no problem with that. But it’s the mismanagement of assets and the selling of trades for d-grade prospects that drives a fan crazy. You gotta maximize your return in any deal and getting a load of d prospects isn’t likely to transport into anything. And for that I don’t trust in Jays management. Every other Toronto management team I think fairly highly of. These guys really come across as business savvy snake oil salesmen and it drives me crazy. Just my two cents.
