The biggest concern for Oilers fans would have to be the cap management in Detroit - since that's an area where the Oilers are already in trouble.
Nielsen, Abdelkader, Helm, Dekeyser, Ericsson, Daley, & Franzen all look like bad contracts that were too long and too expensive for guys that were role players or on the back end of their career.
He's an improvement on Chiarelli for sure - but his contract management has to be a big concern for that fan base.

This is the part I find particularly strange about the choice of Holland. The Wings have the highest payroll in the league and have not hit 80 points in any of last 3 seasons.
Not sure the thought process that suggests this is the guy to bring the Oilers successfully out of their own cap hell
