Springbank, including Elbow Valley, the areas up closer to the schools, or Stonepine is kind of like those rich suburbs of Detroit. Sometimes people say "Springbank" to people in Calgary, but that's usually like saying "Bowness" or "Mount Royal". To people from elsewhere, they usually say they are from Calgary. Oddly, the addresses for a lot of the area is 12345 Township Road 241
Calgary even though it's outside the city limits.
