There was no consequence for the Lannisters melting down Ned's sword, both off shoots are currently in Winterfell and not a mention. No one talks about Kat's warping around The Seven Kingdom's in season 1 either. But that happened early when we were less pedantic, less nerdy and more open to storytelling. Not only pleased when what we expect to happen happened. Heaven forbid it goes outside that.

All this talk about everything coming up good guys is hilarious now. It wasn't that long ago the internet was ablaze at how harsh the world was to our heros and enough was enough already.
