We really need to get rid of Monahan because the fan base doesn't appreciate him. Ah heck, who am I kidding, I don't think this fan base would have appreciated the likes Lemieux, Gretzky, Howe or Orr...
We expect too much out of our players and when they don't realize those lofty and unrealistic expectations we want to throw them out with the trash or recycle them for equally flawed players (or even more so flawed).
