The tactical adjustments WERE made by game 5. What he couldn't do was
- get his second pair to start executing those adjustments the way his first and third pair had.
- get one more strong game out of Smith. Smith failed to make any big saves in game 5 whether on the PK or ES. It was probably too much to ask a 37 year old to play five tough games in nine nights but he had little choice
- get Gaudreau to finish just one grade A chance, even on a penalty shot and two breakaways

LOL better late than never right? I would think after game 2 (the OT goal alone was the epitome of the series) these adjustments should have been made.
