We’ll see if the Avs we saw in round one can return to form. Or maybe the quickness of the Sharks forwards can pressure the Avs’ defense better than the Flames. Certainly the Sharks’ defense handled the Avs’ forecheck better than any of the Flames defense (including Giordano)

I fully expect the length and physicality of the Knights series to eventually take a toll on the Sharks so I could see them fade as the series progresses. I just think the Avs are not very good and that the Sharks overall talent advantage will be enough to get them to the next round where they could run out of gas. I know a lot of fans are hoping the Avs do well so as not to make the Flames look worse but I would rather they be embarrassed from getting smoked by a mediocre team than to shrug their shoulders that they just ran into a team of destiny.
