So either Denis just sucks at clay - in which case he shouldn't be playing in these tournaments - or he is mentally so fragile that he can't handle the slightest bit of adversity. It's at a point where you don't even want to be invested in him, because he's probably going to let you down.
... And then we take a step back and realize we're talking about a 20 year old with lots of raw natural talent, and he has time to figure the intangibles out. It is frustrating though. I want to watch him play well, because it's such a thing of beauty when he does. Just only seems to happen very intermittently.
