We do know that Giordano is probably at peak value. So, as the GM you have to weigh all of that and decide if value trumps performance, etc. The other thing you have to weigh I think (and I honestly don't know how much, as this is uninformed speculation) is that Giordano is at the head of the leadership group that keeps flopping on their collective faces under pressure...

I just don't think you move Gio this year. But aside from him, I'm not sure who the leadership group is. I know who it should be based on the role on the team, but I'm sure not convinced that's how those players are acting in the room or on the ice.
