as much as i think that colbert and stewart are limited-hangout stooges that continue to sell the 'oops we are so stupid!' argument and heap praise and adulation on vampires like gary hart and henry kissinger, i think that the odd VERY funny joke creeps through.
that colbert roast with the 'gannon' button was pure gold, and it snuck by (i would guess) many casual viewers without realizing that during the press club roast they managed to take a jab at the most notorious white house male escort of this administration, jeff gannon - a guy that had been there hundreds of times.
it should be pretty good, i tend to think that colbert is kind of a parody of pundits like o'reilly and hannity.
