Some problems aside, this season is still a success no matter what happens in this series. If we'd been told last September that the Flames would not only make the playoffs but have the second-best record in the league, probably a lot of fans would have been thrilled. Obviously the playoffs have not been anything to get thrilled about. Still, overall, this year's been a good step for the franchise.
What concerns me is the top forwards' play over the last couple of months (outside of a handful of games). And that's food for later on.

If we lose in 7 or even 6 id be fine with calling it a satisfactory season but if we lose in 5 id call it a failure. Losing in 5 to a team that wouldnt even make the playoffs with their points in most years while having home ice advantage is embarrassing anyway you spin it (i still think we win the series but if we lose tomorrow its bad).
