Everything mentioned is already available on most cell phones as it is, plus some. Cells already play mp3s, access the internet (hello... blackberry?), get tv shows, have touch-screens etc.
I think this is a classic case of Apple hype.
I love my iPod, don't get me wrong, but for the amount of money I spent, I could've gotten a much better mp3 player with better software (I hate iTunes, absolutely hate it). So, I feel as though I bought into an over-hyped product.

Ever tried surfing the net on a cell phone?..it is a half-assed experience at best...so while technically you are right everything is kinda available now already, the biggest difference will be the quality of the users experience IMO.
To me this looks like Apple is creeping back to handheld PCs kinda like an iPAQ but less clunky....
