You could have been like Saskatchewan. Higher personal income taxes, a pst and significant spending cuts but only a 350 million dollar deficit so the equivalent of about a 1.4 billion dollar deficit.

However i didn’t see too many conservatives wanting a sales tax or NDP wanting cuts like Sask did.
