I never said that they didn't overspend. I'm not saying that the NDP didn't have its flaws.
But you're being disingenuous if you pretend that historically low oil prices didn't have a LOT to do with the deficit being as large as it was.
Also, what is a government supposed to do when unemployment is high? Slap its citizens with a round of austerity, when they are already suffering as it is?
